Lavinia Franco
I am an Economist Graduate Programme participant at the European Central Bank (ECB). I completed my PhD in Finance at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) in 2024.
My research focuses on fintech, banks and nonbanks, with a focus on how technological changes might influence macro and policy developments.
In the summer of 2022, I worked as an intern in the Western Hemisphere Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Previously, I visited the Monetary and Economic Department of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the Research Department of the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Supervision Department of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
